Perancangan Sistem Informasi Akademik Menggunakan Metode Kanban

Abstract

Abstrak: Diera sekarang Sistem Informasi sangat diperlukan dalam menunjang suksesnya suatu pelayanan pada Perguruan Tinggi. Pelayanan Pelayanan di perguruan tinggi meliputi Pelayanan Akademik, Kemahasiswaan ataupun pelayanan lainnya. Banyak perguruan tinggi yang sudah memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi sebagai sentral pelayanan. Tentunya Universitas Subang harus mengejar ketertinggalan tersebut agar dapat bersaing. Saat ini Universitas Subang masih melakukan proses bisnis Pelayanan Akademiknya secara konvensional dan belum memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi. Akibat dari masih konvensional maka lambatnya pelayanan akademik seiring meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa pertahun dengan kebutuhan pelayanan akademik secara cepat, tepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini akan mencoba merancang sebuah sistem informasi akademik dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mobile web agar dapat mempermudah penyampaian informasi dan pemberian layanan di Universitas Subang. Selain itu dalam penelitian ini akan menerapkan Metode Kanban dalam merancang Sistem Informasi Akademiknya. Untuk menggambarkan rancangan tersebut penulis akan menggunakan Unified Modeling Language, Rancangan Database dan Rancangan Interface. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa Model Sistem Informasi Akademik yang meliputi beberapa aspek diantaranya Aspek Pengguna Sistem, Aspek Software, Aspek Hardware dan Aspek Jaringan Internet yang akan implementasi untuk kedepannya.

Abstract:  In this Era, information systems is indispensable in supporting for the success of a service to the University. Service at the College include Academic Services, Student Services or other services. Many colleges are already making use of information systems as a central service. Certainly University Subang must catch up in order to compete. Currently the University of Subang are still carry out  business process in conventional Academic performance and not take advantage of information systems. As a result of the slow pace of conventional still academic services with the increasing number of students every years with needs of academic service in a fast, precise and accurate. This research will try to devise a system of academic information by utilizing the mobile web technology in order to facilitate the submission of information and outreach at the University of Subang. Moreover in this study will apply methods of Kanban in devising Academic information system. To illustrate the design of the writers will use the Unified Modeling Language, Design databases and the design of the Interface. The end result of this research in the form of a Model of Academic information systems which includes several aspects such as Users Aspect Systems, Aspect Software, Hardware Aspects and Internet Network Aspects will be implementation for the future.
